Seasonal and Holiday Squidoo Lenses – Worth it or Not?

A large part of my plan for increasing my Squidoo income is going to involve updating my existing seasonal lenses and making new ones.

Generally a new lens takes at least 3 months to start seeing any traffic so now (April) is the time to work on summer lenses and by May/June I need to be working on Fall and Halloween – although I may just forget about holiday lenses.

If I Knew Then What I Know Now

I have been online attempting to make money almost ever since the internet began. I have had some moderate successes and some abysmal failures. My worst decision EVER was to more or less abandon my web 2.0 sites (Squidoo & Hubpages) and concentrate on building my own sites.

You don’t need me to tell you that starting a profitable business online is not as easy as they always make out. First you have to pick the right product to promote, then you have to create websites, then you have to work out how to get traffic… the list goes on and on.

Squidoo – Moving on Up Again!

I wrote in my last post that Squidoo traffic is improving.  In fact as of now (late October 2009) traffic to my Squidoo lenses is as high as it ever has been over the past 3 years.
